Food Showcase Technician
Hawkes Bay Based Position
Long term contract
Minimum of 30 hours per week
$28 – $30 per hour depending on experience
We are seeking someone with the ability to build a food show case from flat sheet to finished product
Key Requirements
- 2 years’ Experience in welding/fabrication or experience in a similar field
- Experienced at operating CNC punching and folding equipment
- Experienced in light sheet metal TIG welding
- Experienced in light sheet metal fabrication finishing
- Experienced in copper brazing
- Experienced in copper tubing fabrication methods
- Experienced in appliance wiring
- Experienced in using electrical test equipment
- Math skills for basic calculation and measuring
- Practical mechanical assembly skills
- Knowledge of safety rules and procedures
- Problem-solving skills
- Communication and listening skills
- Record-keeping skills
- Computer literate to enable use of Process instructions and company system
- Prepared to work weekends
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- High understanding of Health and Safety in the workplace
